Camping has always been something that appeals to me as someone who enjoys being outside in nature. However, I will be the first to confess that spending an extended period of time in a conventional tent may get a little bit uncomfortable. Because of this, I was beyond ecstatic to learn about the world of glamping, sometimes known as elegant camping. The yurt is one sort of accommodation that has won me over entirely. I highly recommend staying in one.

A yurt is a movable, circular tent that has been used by nomadic civilizations in Central Asia for hundreds of years. For those who may not be acquainted with what a yurt is, we will explain. It has a wooden frame that is either covered with canvas or felt, and it is meant to be readily constructed and dismantled, which makes it an excellent choice for individuals who are often on the road. The circular design of the yurt makes it possible to make effective use of the available space; the center may be left open for a fire pit or stove, and the sides can be closed up to provide more solitude and keep in the warmth.

During a weekend break with my significant other, I tried glamorous camping for the first time in a yurt, and I have to admit that it was love at first sight. The yurt was such a warm and welcoming space, and it offered the ideal combination of traditional allure and contemporary convenience. We were provided with a separate bathroom that had a rain shower, a luxurious king-size bed, and a wood-burning heater that kept us warm throughout the night. It was as if we were in our own little universe, surrounded by nature but with all of the modern conveniences and comforts that were required to make us feel spoiled.

Since that first trip, I have been completely hooked on yurt glamping, and I have been fortunate enough to have the chance to stay in a wide range of different yurts at luxury resorts and campgrounds all around the United States.

After some research and based on my experience the following locations in the United States are among the best for yurt or canvas tent glamping:

AutoCamp Russian River is situated in the heart of California’s wine region, and it provides guests with a selection of opulent tents and airstreams that are ideal for a retreat with a significant other or a trip with the whole family. Each yurt is equipped with its own personal terrace, a warm and inviting fireplace, and a bathroom with a rainfall showerhead.

A selection of yurt accommodations, ideal for a stress-free vacation, can be found at Collective Hill Country, which is situated in the center of Texas Hill Country. Collective Hill Country provides a range of yurts for guests to choose from. The resort offers a swimming pool, a fitness center, and a restaurant in addition to the yurts, each of which has its own private bathroom, king-size bed, and fireplace.

Moab, Yellowstone National Park, and the Grand Canyon are just a few of the places in the United States where you may find accommodations provided by Under Canvas, a luxury glamping business. Each site has a selection of yurts and tents that are comfortable sleeping quarters and are ideal for a luxurious camping experience.

The adaptability and ease of use that yurt glamping provides are two of the aspects that I like the most about it. Yurts are versatile accommodations that may be erected in a number of settings, ranging from the beach to the mountains, and they are an excellent choice for lone travelers, couples, and families. Moreover, yurts provide all the conveniences of home, including private bathrooms, kitchenettes, and comfy mattresses; nonetheless, they do not prevent guests from enjoying the natural splendor and peace of the surrounding environment.

Glamping in a yurt is something that, in general, cannot recommend highly enough. It’s a one-of-a-kind and unforgettable way to enjoy the beauty of nature, and it’s an activity that everyone should attempt at least once in their lives. Why hold off then? Get started right now on the itinerary for your yurt camping trip.
